USD1/USD price feed

USD1 is a dollar stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial and launched in 2025. Each token is intended to be backed by a corresponding dollar held in reserve and the issuer both creates new supply and withdraws it. That makes this a single-issuer dollar, which is a different arrangement from a dollar the market assembles for itself.

Book composition · auto-observed
The largest venue accounts for the majority of the book at the moment; the others split what is left.

A dollar with one issuer at the controls

Supply here expands and contracts by decision rather than by mechanism. The issuer mints new tokens when demand calls for them and removes them when it does not, so the quantity in circulation is an operating choice made in one place.

That arrangement is common among fiat-collateralized dollars and it concentrates the questions worth asking. A holder is trusting a reserve they cannot inspect directly plus a redemption process they may never use.

What the open market can show is the other half of the picture: what people are willing to pay for the token right now, against other dollars, with real size behind the answer.

Where a peg gets tested

A peg is never tested while everyone is holding. It is tested when someone needs to leave, which is when the depth standing behind the quote decides whether the price holds or slips.

That is why the pools matter more than the headline figure. A dollar trading against other dollars in venues with real size can absorb an exit; one resting on a narrow set cannot, however steady it looks on a quiet day.

The composition published beside the rate is what turns this from a reassurance into something a reader can check.

Reading a dollar at the right resolution

Dollar assets need finer measurement than most. The entire useful range of a peg lives inside the last few decimal places, so a figure rounded for display can report calm on a day when the book moved.

Basis points are the working unit for anyone holding these balances and a reading that cannot express them cannot support the decision being made against it.

The dollar crosses board reads these assets against each other for the same reason. A peg is easier to judge beside its peers than on its own.

Treasury desks holding stablecoin balances

Basis points are the working unit here. A figure rounded to the cent cannot support the decision being made against it.

Risk teams monitoring peg behaviour

A continuous measured record turns a move into evidence rather than a screenshot.

Protocols accepting the asset as collateral

Collateral logic reads the traded level, so the depth standing behind it is part of the risk.
