WBTC/USD price feed
WBTC is bitcoin issued on someone else's rails. The one-to-one backing is a promise made by an issuer; whether the market still agrees with that promise is a separate question and it gets answered in the cross rather than in the documentation.

No venue stands out in this book at present; depth is distributed across chains.
The wrapper question
Every wrapped bitcoin carries two things at once: the coin it represents and the bridge that represents it. The coin's price is quoted everywhere. The bridge's standing shows up in exactly one place, which is what the wrapper trades at against bitcoin itself.
That is why a parity view matters more than a dollar figure to anyone holding size. A wrapper trading at its coin is an unremarkable fact; a wrapper drifting from it is the first thing a risk desk wants to see, with a block attached.
This catalog prices several wrapped bitcoins from their own books, so the comparison stays like for like. The parity board reads them sideways.
Which wrapper on which chain
The same wrapped bitcoin exists in more than one place. It is issued once and then carried onto other chains by other routes, so a holding described as WBTC is really a holding of one particular representation on one particular chain.
Those representations do not have to agree with each other. Each sits behind its own liquidity and its own bridge, which means the cross between them is a live question rather than a formality.
A dollar figure that flattens all of this into a single number is convenient. It also discards the one thing a holder of size needs to know, which is where the position actually sits.
A book with room in it
Depth changes what a price means. A mark drawn from a broad set of venues survives one pool going quiet, while a narrow book inherits the character of whatever venue happens to be trading.
Depth here also spreads across chains, so the same asset is being priced in more than one place at once. A single-venue reading would miss most of it.
Who runs on this rate
Lending desks holding wrapped collateral
Liquidation logic runs on the wrapper's own traded level rather than on bitcoin's. The two sit close together until they do not.
Treasuries with multi-chain bitcoin exposure
One measurement style across chains keeps the inventory comparable instead of a set of unrelated quotes.
Risk teams watching bridge health
Parity against the coin is a bridge's public vital sign. This feed keeps that line continuous, blocks attached.
