bSOL/USD price feed

bSOL is the liquid staking token of BlazeStake, a non-custodial staking pool on Solana: deposit SOL, receive bSOL, keep earning validator rewards while the token stays free to move. Its on-chain market runs almost entirely in SOL terms, so its dollar price rides on SOL's own measured market.

What is bSOL?

BlazeStake spreads deposited SOL across a wide validator set; bSOL represents that stake plus the rewards it accrues. The token does not rebase. Its redemption value in SOL climbs instead, the same pattern wstETH follows on Ethereum. Holding bSOL is holding a growing claim on staked SOL, in a form that lending markets plus liquidity pools can put to work.

One note for searchers: BSOL is also the stock-exchange symbol of an exchange-traded fund that holds Solana, with its own separately quoted price. This page covers the on-chain token only: BlazeStake Staked SOL, living in Solana's DeFi venues.

How bSOL resolves to dollars

A staking token tends to trade against the asset it wraps: the people exchanging bSOL are mostly exchanging it for SOL. Where the book quotes in SOL, the dollar rate is computed in two steps, through SOL's own deep on-chain market, the same route stETH takes through the ETH market on Ethereum. Where a stablecoin-quoted venue holds real depth, the reading arrives directly.

Which venues qualify is never fixed. bSOL's book has thinned out plus refilled before; the floors decide each week which pools are deep enough to touch the number, while the rest stay watched. Routing the dollar rate through the asset's real markets, whatever their shape that week, is not a workaround. It is the honest reading of where bSOL's liquidity lives.

Staked SOL against staked SOL

bSOL's book has also carried a stranger kind of market: pools where it traded against JitoSOL, another liquid staking token. Two yield-bearing versions of the same underlying asset, pricing each other directly. Whenever such crosses hold enough depth to enter the composition, they add a signal a single venue cannot: how the market ranks one staking implementation against another, block by block.

For bSOL holders the two kinds of leg matter together. A SOL leg says what the token is worth in its base asset; a staking-token cross says how its standing inside the liquid staking family moves. A feed that weighs whichever of them the market currently sustains carries both stories in one rate.

Who runs on this rate

Credit markets

Solana lending markets that take bSOL as collateral need the market rate marked where the token actually trades.

Yield strategies

Strategies rotating between Solana staking tokens read staking-token crosses, when the book carries them, as a live relative-value signal.

Risk desks

A staking token whose open market can run thin needs a feed that says so, with depth attached, rather than a number that implies liquidity that is not there.
