AUSD/USD price feed
Every public source quotes AUSD at one dollar, because one dollar is what its reserve page promises. A promise is not a measurement. This page reports what venues pay for the token, read from live pools at stated blocks, so the level above is an observation rather than a restatement of the design.

Most of the weight sits in a single pool right now, with lighter venues spread over other chains.
A promise and a print
AUSD is built to be worth a dollar: fiat reserves, a published net asset value, an issuer that mints one for one. Quote pages repeat that figure back, each in its own way. When every source states the design target, none of them is telling you what the market currently pays.
The difference matters most on the days it appears. A fiat-backed dollar can trade a few basis points from its net asset value whenever demand outruns minting or redemptions queue up; the market rate is where that shows first. A page that repeats the design target cannot show it, by construction.
So this feed measures instead of repeats. Every reading is assembled from live pools at a stated block; the level published above is whatever those venues agreed at that moment: usually a whisker from par, occasionally not, always observed.
Depth as discipline
For a young fiat-backed dollar the question that matters is not the target but the walls around it: the standing liquidity under a reading decides whether the number means anything. AUSD has drawn serious resting depth early in its life, which few assets this young manage.
Depth disciplines the number. A print that moves a deep pool had real size behind it, so a level read from such venues is hard to nudge with small flows; readers get a reference that does not twitch on dust. Smaller venues cross-check the deeper ones between blocks, each weighed at the size it actually holds.
Whatever a pool quotes in, that side is brought back to dollars through its own measured market before the AUSD level forms. What lands on the page is close to first-hand: token against dollar, weighed, pinned, published.
Early at the frontier, institutional at the core
The issuer side of this asset is unusually establishment for DeFi: Agora issues the token, VanEck manages the reserve, State Street holds custody. Those are public facts that explain the clientele the token courts. They do not price it; the pools do.
The geography tells the forward-leaning half of the story. AUSD circulates on young chains as readily as on established ones, so its book can pick up venues on networks that have existed for months rather than years. The feed reports the spread as it stands; where it goes next, the composition will show on its own.
Who runs on this rate
Treasuries marking fiat-backed inventory
A desk holding AUSD can mark against what the market pays rather than restating the issuer's target, with the venues behind the number in view.
Risk desks watching market versus NAV
The spread between a reserve-backed dollar's stated value and its traded level is the early signal; this page supplies the traded half at a stated block.
Desks routing on new chains
Anyone moving dollars on the young networks this token reaches gets a reference computed the same way as on the established ones.
